About J.LE.C Electrical

John started business in Bradford, working from home with his wife Valerie. Over the years he has built the business up to a large team of employees with a extensive customer base.

J.L.E.C Electrical pride themselves in offering their customers a one-stop-shop for all of their electrical, security & data requirements.

John’s son Glenn started his career as an electrical apprentice and worked through his qualification to become fully qualified at the age of 18. Glenn then came to assist J.L.E.C Electrical with the day to day running, design certification and new products/ideas. John’s daughter. Claire started working for the company at 19 and assists with the administration and financial side of the business.

In June 2005 J.L.E.C Electrical Contractors became J.L.E.C Electrical Ltd. John became Chief Executive, Glenn Liput became Managing Director. Claire Ham took the role of Financial Director and Valerie as Secretary.

In July 2007, Lee Fowler, a long serving employee, was promoted to N.I.C.E.I.C Qualifying Supervisor. Lee, along with Glenn, are responsible for maintaining standards prescribed by BS7671:2008 (17th Edition) along with the inspection, testing and certification of the works we carry out.

Lee also plays a key role in the general day to day running of the business, becoming works director and a shareholder of J.L.E.C Ltd in 2008.

It is our combined goal as a family business to provide an exceptional service to all of our customers. Our main areas of business are carried out throughout the UK in all regions of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Occasionally work has also been carried out in other countries.

J.L.E.C Electrical are not only committed to providing customers with a high level of quality and satisfaction. We also take pride in taking on apprentices from school and provide quality ‘in house’ training which helps them to become fully qualified electricians and further their careers. We work closely with local training organisations to ensure that school leavers obtain the best possible training. Along with the electrical training provided by these training organisations. J.L.E.C Electrical gives training to there apprentices within the other areas of work that we cover.

J.L.E.C Electrical are committed to Health and Safety at work. It is our priority that all tasks are carried out with the strict implementation of the Health and Safety at work act.  J.L.E.C Electrical are CHAS registered. We are also members of the NICEIC which is the electrical contracting industry’s independent voluntary body for electrical installation matters throughout the UK. Our NICEIC enrolment number is 22126.
