About the Role
Responsibilities:
Install and maintain solar panels and battery storage systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
Perform on-site assessments to determine the appropriate system size, location, and design
Install, connect and test solar panel and battery storage components
Troubleshoot and repair system faults
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
Maintain accurate records of work carried out, including documentation for certification and warranties
Keep up-to-date with industry developments and attend relevant training sessions as required
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in installing solar panels and battery storage systems
Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related field
Knowledge of electrical and wiring codes and regulations
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
